Reminder Types

Email Reminders

Sent to client's email:

  • Confirmation after booking
  • Reminder before appointment
  • Follow-up after session

SMS Reminders (Coming Soon)

Text message reminders:

  • Higher open rates
  • Immediate delivery
  • Requires phone number

Configuring Reminders

Default Schedule

  1. Go to Scheduling > Reminders
  2. Set default reminder times
  3. Enable/disable each type

Common Schedule

  • 1 week before - Initial reminder
  • 1 day before - Detailed reminder
  • 2 hours before - Final reminder

Reminder Content

Customizing Messages

Edit reminder templates:

  1. Click on reminder type
  2. Edit subject and body
  3. Use merge fields for personalization
  4. Save changes

Per-Service Reminders

Different Reminders per Service

Some services need different reminders:

  1. Go to service settings
  2. Override default reminders
  3. Set custom schedule
  4. Add service-specific content

Viewing Scheduled Reminders

  1. Go to booking details
  2. See "Scheduled Reminders"
  3. View send times

Canceling Reminders

If a booking changes:

  • Reminders auto-cancel on booking cancellation
  • Can manually cancel specific reminders
  • Reschedules update reminder times

  1. Don't over-remind (3 max)
  2. Include essential info only
  3. Add preparation instructions
  4. Include easy reschedule option
  5. Keep messages short
